Description: Imagine life as you know it changing…. Forever. In 1985, prominent doctors and scientists from around the globe founded GenTech, Inc., a highly experimental laboratory designed for the better good of humanity. The ideal was based on “thinking outside of the box” to come up with medical marvels to save the masses. Several of the world’s greatest medical breakthroughs such as cures for cancer and life-like bionic prosthetics have come from their works. All research was bound to one idea… One doctor, Dr. Baron Von Barstrow, was one of the leading geneticists at GenTech. He had been leading a large team of researchers in the field of tissue re-animation. The basis of this principal was to figure out how to re-animate organic tissue that had died, in order to assist the living. These breakthroughs would save millions with procedures such as organ transplants, surgeries to correct genetic deformities, and even a possible cure for paralysis. For years he had worked on theories and procedures, followed through by some experimentation.  He had finally come up with a plan that would work. By using the tissue of the freshly deceased, he was able to re-animate the tissue long enough to harvest organs and cells, then successfully transplant them into the living. So far it had worked on the lab rats, the next step was humans. Dr. Von Barstrow had gotten the approval from the board to proceed with “Project X”….The Dr.’s first trials had been successful. He had been able to reanimate tissue from the cadavers and transplant everything up to organs into his patients with no adverse effects. The results were miraculous! This was to be GenTech’s crowning achievement. No longer would people wait on transplant lists for months or years to get the new heart or liver they needed. At death, people would be tested and preserved, until a match for their tissue was needed. Soon, the procedures and policies would be in place to carry this miracle to hospitals around the world. That was…. until the complications started to appear….At first they were just minor issues. Some people had minor reactions such as rashes, slow healing, and headaches. A few even had tissue rejection where their body wouldn’t take to the foreign cells. Then, came the visions... followed by hallucinations. And the insatiable hunger the patients had! Things started to culminate when some of the deceased rats they had been using went missing… What they hadn’t prepared for was the repercussions of breaking a cardinal rule… Never bring back the dead. Their blood thirst is insatiable. Soon, GenTech would be overrun and the world would never be the same….
